Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: 16 April 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") lists uses of the Service that are prohibited or conditional. It forms part of the Terms of Use. Breach of the AUP entitles us to suspend or terminate your Account immediately and to forfeit any unused Credits.
1. Scope
The AUP applies to everything you do through the Service — API calls, Playground sessions, website use, and anything else you submit to us. It also applies to content generated by AI models in response to your prompts.
2. Absolute prohibitions
You must not use the Service to, or to assist anyone else to:
- generate, distribute, solicit, or store child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or content that exploits, grooms, or sexualises minors;
- plan, promote, fundraise for, or carry out terrorism, violent extremism, or mass violence;
- provide meaningful uplift to the design, synthesis, acquisition, or deployment of chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear weapons;
- develop malware, exploits, ransomware, or tooling intended to gain unauthorised access to systems or data;
- generate non-consensual intimate imagery, including “undressing” or sexualised deepfakes of real people;
- dox, harass, threaten, stalk, or incite violence against a person or group;
- commit fraud, phishing, or any form of scam, including fake customer-support or fake government communications;
- manipulate elections or voters, conduct political microtargeting, or create deepfakes of real political figures without clear disclosure and lawful basis;
- impersonate a real person in a way that is likely to mislead, without their consent and a clear disclaimer;
- misrepresent Outputs as professional legal, medical, financial, or tax advice, or as the output of a licensed professional;
- resell, redistribute, or wrap raw API access as a competing inference gateway, whether commercial or free;
- circumvent, disable, or interfere with AI safety systems or moderation — including jailbreak prompts, prompt-injection attacks against third parties, and adversarial techniques aimed at disabling provider safety measures;
- engage in any activity prohibited under Article 5 of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act — including real-time remote biometric identification in public spaces, social scoring by public or private actors, predictive policing based solely on profiling, untargeted scraping of facial images, emotion recognition in workplaces or educational institutions, subliminal or manipulative techniques, and exploitation of vulnerable groups.
3. Adult content
Sexual or pornographic content is prohibited across the Service, without exception. Provider safety filters remain active; attempting to bypass them is a breach of this AUP.
4. Conditional categories (permitted with responsibility)
These uses are not prohibited, but you take them on at your own risk and are solely responsible for the consequences:
- Crypto and financial automation — including generating trading strategies, market commentary, or on-chain automation. You bear all financial and regulatory risk. You must comply with every applicable financial-services law in every jurisdiction you operate in.
- Academic and exam assistance — your relationship with your institution is between you and them. Do not ask us to enforce their rules, and do not ask us to break them.
- Licensed-professional use — you may use Outputs as part of your professional workflow if you are appropriately licensed. You remain responsible under your professional body’s rules and the duty of care you owe your clients. Outputs are not a substitute for professional judgment.
5. Safety systems
You must not reverse-engineer, bypass, disable, or interfere with AI safety, moderation, or abuse-detection systems operated by us or by our subprocessors. We may log and share suspected bypass attempts with the provider concerned.
6. Third-party policies also apply
When you select an AI subprocessor, its own usage policy applies on top of this AUP. Relevant policies include those of OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, and Alibaba Cloud (Qwen). You are responsible for reading and complying with the policy of each subprocessor you use.
7. Reporting abuse
If you believe someone is using the Service in breach of this AUP, email abuse@infery.ai. Include the request ID where you can; do not include illegal content in your report.
